THANKSGIVING IS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28!

Thanksgiving is around the corner! Order your pies, quickbreads, cakes, and bake-at-home doughs soon so you are perfectly prepared for the big day!

We roast and puree all of our pumpkins; peel and slice pounds and pounds of heirloom apples, and pour a whole lot of bourbon into those pecan pies. All butter crust holds these amazing ingredients in, ready to be sliced and topped with your fluffy (homemade, please!) whipped cream. Pumpkin bread makes a perfect Thanksgiving morning breakfast. You can even bake Batter scones and biscuits at home for just-out-of the oven decadence!

Call our shop at 415-674-1069 or email us at info@batterbakery.com to order. Download our Thankgiving menu & Order form HERE.

August is the month of birthdays!

August 15 marks the day we opened for regular hours at 1517 Pine Street - 3 years ago! We’ll be celebrating with Happy Hour alll day that Thursday, 8/15. All single cookies, shortbread, and breakfast items will be 2 for $5. What a steal!

End of August (August 25 technically) marks the kiosk’s 10th Birthday! We’ll be celebrating our first retail location’s big birthday, on Wednesday, August 21. Please join us for a Batter Kiosk 10th Birthday Party to help celebrate the kiosk's big 1-0. All day long we will be offering treat specials at the kiosk (4 cookies for $10, 3 breakfast items for $10, or two cookie packs for $10... see a theme here?!) One lucky customer during the 10am hour will receive a Batter gift card as well.

Between 12pm and 1pm we'll be out on the 555 California Plaza celebrating. Our Sweetcart will make an appearance with a limited number of ice cream sandwiches for sale; we'll be handing out cookies to our first 300 fans; and we'll have a business card drawing for some serious prizes! Gather your coworkers together and come celebrate "that little stand on the corner of 555."

As with our 5-year birthday, serious prize-seekers should bring their oldest kiosk receipt they can find (we know some of you have been coming by since day 1!). Whether it's from the bottom of your old purse or your expense report archive, we want to see who can show the longest-standing kiosk loyalty!

Happy Birthday(s) to the shop and kiosk!

June Events

Jen M.Comment

Summer is just around the corner, which means event season is here! We’re excited to kick off the first part of summer (before it’s even OFFICIALLY summer) with two of our favorite events…. West Coast Craft and CUESA’s Summer Bash!

June 8-9 we’ll be at West Coast Craft at Fort Mason Festival Pavilion slinging some of our most creative & delicious goodies, ranging from seasonal fruit scones and desserts to all time Batter classics (hellooooo Sand Angels!). The fair runs 10am-6pm each day, and you can find us right up front in booth 5! Come hungry and ready to shop. We’ll have snacks to fuel your shopping adventure, and goods perfect for gifting as well.

Sunday June 9 we’ll hightail it from WCC over to the Ferry Building for the Summer Bash! For one night only, experience the Ferry Building as it is transformed for an epic party to feed your senses and soul. At CUESA’s Summer Bash, you’ll feast on unlimited food and drink from the Bay Area’s best chefs and bartenders, all made with the freshest farmers market produce. Join us in supporting local farms and healthy communities, and toasting the vibrant food future we are growing together. Get your tickets here, and don’t miss our infamous chocolate olive oil cake, which we’ll be serving with fresh berries from Triple Delight, Swanton Berry Farm, and Yerena Farms.

Sunday June 30 we’ll be at Head West Marketplace at Hangar 1 Distillery in Alameda, 11am-5pm. This (new!) local gathering of makers + merchants will be an amazing shopping experience, and we look forward to selling our handmade goods as well!

See you soon… to celebrate summer!
